Life Insurance Premium Rates Effective May 2024
Rates for insurance are based on claims experience and each year the proposed changes are reviewed and negotiated to achieve the best outcome for our covered employees.
Effective May 1, 2024, the following changes to premiums will take place:
- Basic Life Insurance will increase by 1.3%.
- Optional Life Insurance will remain the same.
- Dependent Life Insurance will increase by 4.9%.
- Voluntary Personal Accident Insurance will remain the same
You will find more information about your insurance coverages by logging in to My Human Resources. Choose Benefits and Wellness, then select Benefits Summary to see your coverage. Click on the specific benefit type to see details.
You may also view all benefit costs on the Your Benefits webpage on the Human Resource website. Choose your employee group, then select Benefit Costs from the list.
